Orzhova, sometimes called the Church of Deals, is the main guildhall of the Orzhov Syndicate, a lavish cathedral with soaring ceilings, designed to make anyone who enters it feel insignificant and out-of-scale by comparison. Overblown stained glass windows and oversized marble statues depict an array of wealthy bishops, enforcer angels, and guild-affiliated ghosts. Multiple halls and antechambers can be accessed from the main cathedral, and it is said that a labyrinth of catacombs, vaults, and even cells for Orzhov debtors exists beneath the massive building.
Orzhova is the site of the most impressive Orzhov ceremonies and rituals, including the Orzhov’s weekly address to its ranks. Thrulls collect monetary offerings and tithing plates during services, and can be seen scampering or flapping around the cathedral at all hours. Advokists, moneylenders, pontiffs and minor clerics all work in Orzhova, offering their services to those that are willing to pay. The Ghost Council is believed to haunt the Church of Deals, but they are never seen by anyone but the highest ranked guildmembers, and have become even more withdrawn in recent years.
