Tongue (Ex) An omnibian’s tongue is a primary attack with reach equal to three times the omnibian’s normal reach. An omnibian’s tongue deals no damage on a hit, but can be used to grab. An omnibian does not gain the grappled condition while using its tongue in this manner.
Believed to be the result of Simic experimentation in ages past, the omnibian is an unusual beast that presents a peculiar danger to those who stumble across it. Research notes have suggested it is evolving the ultimate form of camouflage, in that it warps creatures around it rather than itself to blend in – this is evidenced by its main form of defense and most noteworthy ability, morphing those it encounters it large frogs. Finding the lair of an omnibian is not difficult, as they tend to claim large but isolated bodies of water as their territory deep underground, and a cacophony of croaking almost always proceeds finding one, due to the omnibian’s habit of being surrounded by the frogs it created. An omnibian squats at 9 feet tall from the top of its head and is nearly 10 feet long and wide.
An omnivorous creatures, the omnibian is actually quite skittish and prefers to be left alone. It only attacks when provoked, and will often give creatures entering its domain a warning bellow before attacking. If forced to fight, an omnibian attempts to turn the invaders into frogs first and foremost, and then attacks physically if it has no other option – or if it is truly desperate and hungry. Those transformed by the omnibian’s power inevitably stay with their creator, forming a colony of frogs wherever the omnibian lurks.
